The Parish Players is an incorporated not-for-profit community theater group dedicated to presenting high quality dramatic productions created by people who participate for the love of the work. Celebrating our 50th year, we remain committed to:
Based at the Eclipse Grange Theatre in Thetford Hill, Vermont, we have been staffed and run by volunteers continuously since 1966 (learn more about our history and productions). Today, we continue to stage challenging plays drawn from the classics, musical comedy, contemporary drama, and original works by members of the Upper Valley community.
All lovers of the performing arts are warmly invited to get involved with the Parish Players in whatever way suits their interests and abilities.
It is only through the generous support of our friends and sponsors that Parish Players can continue to make productions available at our beloved Eclipse Grange. We welcome you or your business/organization to support us.
The Parish Players often partners with local charities, sometimes related to the themes of the performance but not necessarily, to donate a portion of ticket proceeds to good causes. Past beneficiary groups include: Hospice, Cover Home Repair, SERG (the Sustainable Energy Resource Group), Vermont Food Bank and ACF International Action Against Hunger.
If you would like your group/organization to be considered for a benefit performance, please contact the board or program committee. If your group can be matched with a PP show, you will be asked to help fill the seats on the night of the benefit. You will also have a brief opportunity to address the audience, put up a display, and possibly put a small paragraph in the program. Typically, between 50-100% of the proceeds go to the charity. Details to be worked out directly with the director or producer.
